Find Your Next Home in Cerritos
Cerritos offers a contemporary mix of residential neighborhoods, shopping, highly rated schools, public libraries, and many cultural opportunities such as the Performing Arts Center.
Named after the Spanish land grant of Rancho Los Cerritos, it adopted Cerritos as its name in 1967 after it shifted from being a dairy and agricultural town to an urban center within Los Angeles County. Just inland from Long Beach, there is easy access to the 605 Freeway and the 5 Freeway.
Residential properties are mostly contemporary style single family homes dating from the 1960s through the 1980s, mixed with some condo/townhome developments. Some of the neighborhoods are located within gated associations.
Cerritos is also known for one of the top rated high schools in the nation.
